Export documents to Box.net from your OpenOffice.org with OOo2GD :-)

Did you know that you may use OpenOffice.org2GoogleDocs to export your documents to Box.net?

To do it you will need to use Export to WebDAV icon:



As a WebDAV server path put http://www.box.net/dav/ :



Click OK :-) During uploading you will be asked for your Box.net account login name and password, put it and click OK, you may also check "Remember Password..." field:



After uploading your file will be able on Box.net :-)

OpenOffice.org2GoogleDocs 1.4.1

New day and new version ;-) This time it is 1.4.1. In this version I fixed little and nasty problem which caused that in some rare occasions users got error Problem: no object DCH for MIME application /atom+XML instead of uploading files to Google Docs.

Problem was caused by the fact that in some cases Swing EDT thread might be started with "wrong" ClassLoader, and wasn't able to access libraries needed to contact with Google Docs. This version should fix this problem.

From now, when user will uncheck checkbox "Remember Password" extension will remove from hard drive file with credentials.

OpenOffice.org2GoogleDocs 1.3 beta 1 - update documents on Google Docs

New version 1.3 beta 1 of OpenOffice.org2GoogleDocs is available.

It's a beta, so it isn't ideal ;-)

GUI is rather difficult, so here short "instruction".

First choose proper icon to export file to Google Docs:



In Export to Google Docs dialog instead of text field with document name we have ComboBox, and here is main difference, if you want to upload file as new entry to Google Docs DON'T CHOOSE ANYTHING FROM LIST, you should edit name in first line:



But if you want to export your file as new revision you should choose file to update from list:



When everything is OK you should see:



And here we have screen from Google Docs with revisions of document:

This version may create some unnecessary files in user directory.
