  2. Przemelek,

I'm writing only to express my gratitude for your plug-in that seems to be one of the most efficient in my work.
I wonder the fellows from Google docs didn't any similar thing.
I shall suppose that the coming Google docs offline doesn't seem to be such comfortable and useful as your plug-in. It permits only to continue working offline with documents created previously online, not to create offline in Writer any new document. And I'm still not sure documents changed offline can be saved in any other place in hard disk besides Google Gears.
Google Offline can be very useful only in case if it becomes a real Writer for computer, not a simple prolongation of online document creator.
You have proposed the easiest and most ergonomic way for today to work with Google documents.

The only problem is that there is no similar plug-in for Microsoft Office. I usually use Open Office but most guys of my team are quite conservative. They work with Word only, so they are unable untill now to back-up their documents to Google. They can use Widows Live but this service can't be in competition with Google.
Box.net service has a plug-in "Office on Demand" that permits to create a button in Microsoft Word and to to back-up documents to Box.net file storage directly from Word page.
I'm sure that similar plug-in for Microsoft and Google docs will become very-very popular.

Once more thanks for your plug-in,

  4. Love the plug-in I only have one problem though. I have Openoffice 2.4.0 and when I try to export a doc it says Bad Gateway or something else. It was working fine the other day. Any idea what the problem could be?

    Thanks
